The hunk of burnin’ love that is the LG Optimus Pad has been spotted in a new video. Known in the US as the LG G-Slate, the dual-core, Android-powered tablet has had its ports and sockets laid bare by YouTube user 50sElvis.
According to the video, the G-Slate’s full US moniker is the ‘T-Mobile G-Slate with Google by LG’. Gee, LG, can you get any more company names in there?
Click play on the video below to see more of the T-Mobile G-Slate with Google by LG but not Sony or HTC and definitely not Apple.
We’re worried that all the attention this video will receive will drive 50sElvis into a reclusive depression, as a result of which he’ll gorge on fast food and painkillers and rhinestone-encrusted jumpsuits. Stay off the burgers, 50sElvis!
The Pizza Hut G-Slate with Heinz by LG features a 2-megapixel front-facing camera and stereo speakers. There’s a 5-megapixel camera with an LED flash on the rear of the TK Maxx G-Slate with Kleenex by Lego if Carlsberg made tablets.
Yeah, we’re going to stick with Optimus Pad, thanks.
The Optimus Pad is the pop star of the tablet world, recording 3D video and 1080p high-definition footage, all thanks to an Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core processor. It packs an 8.9-inch touchscreen, which will display 3D video and photos. You will need glasses though.
The Optimus Pad will arrive in the US in March, although when it crosses the pond has yet to be announced.
