Happy 2015! If you’ve resolved to start the new year with flashier wrists, you’re in the right place. This week, we’re giving away a Kisai Vortex wristwatch from Tokyo Flash, purveyor of wacky, eye-catching timepieces.

The limited-edition touchscreen watch sports an always-on spiraling display that simultaneously shows the time for two time zones with a cyclone of rings framed under a concave lens.

The gap in the outer ring of 12 large blocks indicates the hour in the same position as a regular clock. Inside that are smaller dots for the minutes. The inner two rings show the hours and minutes for the second time zone in the same way. The outermost ring indicates seconds. Got all that? If not, watch the video below. Sure, it’s easier to glance at your smartphone for the time, but it’s far, far less original.

The $199 Kisai Vortex comes in two color combinations: blue LCD with blue LED backlighting or natural LCD with red LED backlighting. Your choice. So what do you have to do to get sucked into the Kisai Vortex? There are a few rules, so please read carefully.
