You’ll have a lot of tablets and e-readers to choose from this holiday season, but Barnes & Noble are betting a little early financial incentive might steer you in its direction.

As part of its Discovery Weekend, November 21 through 23, the 7-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Nook tablet will be $149.99 after a $50 instant rebate, while the 10-inch version gets a $100 instant rebate, dropping its price down to $249.99.

Both tablets come loaded with more than $200 in free content from the Nook Store (that could be a positive or negative) and a $5 credit for any Nook purchase.

Barnes & Noble also permanently cut the price of its excellent Nook GlowLight lighted e-ink reader making it just $99 to pick up this competitor to Amazon’s Kindle Paperwhite.

The Galaxy Tab 4 Nook tablets are essentially the same as Samsung’s regular versions of these tablets, but with Barnes & Noble’s skinned interface and the aforementioned free content. So if you’re a customer and fan of the bookseller — or know someone who is — you can pick a tablet up on the cheap this weekend.

The price reduction for the GlowLight starts on November 21, too.
