Amazon giving Prime members $30 off Kindle Paperwhite and Voyage e

Amazon is once again making it pay to be a Prime member — at least if you’re in the market for an e-reader.

Both the Kindle Paperwhite and Kindle Voyage are on sale for Prime members at $89.99 and $169.99 respectively. That’s a $30 discount and the lowest price we’ve seen on the Paperwhite. It also marks the first time Amazon has discounted the top-end Voyage.

Prime costs $99 a year and gives you free two-day shipping on many items in Amazon’s store, as well as access to Amazon’s “free” Prime Video and Music content, the Kindle Lending Library and free photo storage.

Note: You’ll only see the deal if you’re a Prime member and logged into Amazon (the deal appears as a yellow strip on top of the product page). Non-Prime members won’t get the yellow strip.

We’re not sure how long this deal will last but we expect that Amazon will offer flash deals on its tablets and e-readers throughout the holiday season, with some of those deals available to non-Prime members.
