Huawei reportedly punishes workers for tweeting from official account on iPhone

Huawei may have overtaken Apple as the world’s second largest phone vendor in 2018, but at least two of its workers seem to prefer the iPhone. The Chinese phone maker tweeted “Happy 2019” from its official account at 11:31 p.m. on Dec. 31, with a “Twitter for iPhone” stamp, the South China Morning Post reported …

Sure, they had faster processors and other souped-up components. But they kept the same design, something that reportedly has hurt demand for the smartphones. After all, why buy …

I’m in a parking lot in Menlo Park, California, eyeballing a small canister that looks like an Amazon Echo with a fringe on top. It’s a location beacon, but it’s not plugged into a power source. In fact, it’s not powered by anything other than ambient temperature. Despite that fact, it’s showing up on the phone screen, actively pinging external …

If the Asus ProArt PA90 looks familiar, it’s because it first appeared in October as part of Intel’s announcements for its ninth-gen Core i-series processors. The mini desktop also bears a passing resemblance to Apple’s Mac Pro, just not as round. Like the Mac, the ProArt is aimed at creative professionals who need the power and performance of a desktop, …
