Verizon unloads more unwanted 700MHz on U.S. Cellular

Verizon Wireless found a buyer for more of its unwanted 700MHz wireless spectrum. On Tuesday, Verizon announced it has struck a deal with regional carrier U.S. Cellular to sell its 700MHz A block spectrum licenses in Oklahoma City and in 31 surrounding counties. AT&T sells record 10M smartphones in 4th quarter

The fourth quarter was good to AT&T. The carrier said this morning that in the final quarter of 2012, it sold a record number of smartphones — 10 million.
