Earlier on Friday, Maharashtra Police said an unknown male corpse was found in Retibunder Creek on Retibunder road in Mumbra (w). Later the corpse was identified as Hiran. Police said the prima facia shows Hiran died by suicide.

An American Airlines Boeing 737 Max made an emergency landing Friday afternoon in Newark, New Jersey, after pilots noticed a possible problem with an engine oil pressure indicator.

MG George Muthoot, 72, chairman of the Muthoot Group and former lay trustee of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church, passed away in New Delhi on Friday.
