10-Yr-Old Casually Walks Into Bank In MP, Walks Out Stealing Rs 10 Lakh Cash, All In 30 Seconds

In a rather freak case of a bank heist, a 10-year-old boy casually walked into a bank in Madhya Pradesh and walked out with Rs 10 lakhs in his hand, during the rush hours.

The incident happened on Tuesday in Jawad area of MP’s Neemuch district.

CCTV visuals from the bank showed the boy, who is barely as tall as the table near the cash counter when customers were standing on the other side.

He swiftly drops some bundles of notes from the table to his bag and flees the counter.

Only after he reached near the door, someone noticed what was happening and raised an alarm.

By then it was too late and before anyone could stop the boy ran out to a man who fled with him.

According to the police, the man who stood outside the bank could be the mastermind of the heist and he was directing the boy to commit the crime.

He reportedly stood outside and waited till the cashier left the counter before letting in his little accomplice inside.

“The boy fled with two bundles of Rs 500 notes. He could be around 10-12 years old. We could not see his face and he was wearing a mask. An investigation is on,” RP Mishra, Sub Inspector Jawad said.

He also said that the initial investigation has ruled out the involvement of any bank employees in the incident.

“Several suspects have been detained. Some people who have roadside stalls in the area have been called in for questioning. The private security guard is also being interrogated,” said Mishra.
