    The beleaguered phone maker Nokia reported today a $1.7 billion (1.4 billion euro) net loss on $9.23 billion in net sales in the second quarter.     Google beat analyst expectations for the second quarter of 2012 and reported a little more than $1 billion in revenue from its new subsidiary Motorola. Google said that Motorola contributed $1.25 billion in revenue ,or about 10 percent of the company’s consolidated revenue, in the second quarter of 2012.
