Verizon got a jump on CTIA today by announicng that the Android-powered Samsung Stratosphere. Arriving on October 13th, the Stratopshere will be Big Red’s first 4G LTE handset with a QWERTY keyboard. Mobile devices driving nearly 7 percent of Web traffic

Mobile devices are becoming increasingly popular among U.S. consumers for accessing the Web, according to data released today by market researcher ComScore. Some 6.8 percent of Web traffic originated from “non-computer” devices in August, compared with 6.2 percent at the end of the previous quarter, ComScore said.
