Sky Go gets South Park, Geordie Shore and more

New channels are go! Sky Go adds 14 new channels today, streaming South Park, Geordie Shore, Red Dwarf and more from Comedy Central, MTV, Dave, and others to Sky customers on their tablet and phone when they’re away from their dish.

That brings the total number of channels you can watch while you’re out and about to a possible 57 different varieties — hang on, wrong brand — if you include the 6 Sky Sports channels and 11 Sky Movies channels for which subscribers need to pay extra.

Sky Go works on the iPhone and iPad, and will finally work on Android tablets next month.

Here’s the full list of new channels, along with some highlights Sky has kindly picked out:

  • MTV — including Geordie Shore available On Demand
  • Comedy Central — including Jeff Dunham’s Very Special Christmas Special and South Park
  • Gold — including You, Me & Them and The Two Ronnies Spectacle available On Demand
  • Watch — including Dynamo: Magician Impossible and Primeval available On Demand
  • Dave — including Red Dwarf X and Storage Hunters available On Demand
  • Alibi — including Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries and Rizzoli & Isles available On Demand
  • Nat Geo — including Meet The Polygamists and Prospectors available On Demand
  • Nat Geo Wild — including World’s Weirdest and Fish Tank Kings II
  • Discovery — including Bear Grylls: Escape From Hell and Ice Pilots
  • TLC — including Toddlers and Tiaras and Beauty & The Geek Australia
  • Animal Planet — including My Cat From Hell and Finding Bigfoot
  • History — including Ice Road Truckers and Pawn Stars available On Demand
  • Good Food — including Choccywoccydoodah
  • Eden — including David Attenborough’s Natural Curiosities
