Why wait for Black Friday? Roku is starting its holiday sale now — and the offers run straight through December 1 (Cyber Monday), but with that all important caveat: while supplies last.
You’ll find two deals on deck at roku.com, both with free shipping:
- The 2013 Roku LT is available for $30: This product has recently been discontinued, but it’s essentially identical to the Roku 1 , which currently sells for $40 to $50.
- The Roku Streaming Stick (pictured above) is available for $40: That’s a $10 discount on the model we still think is the best sub-$50 media streamer you can buy. (See our full comparison of the Roku vs. the Fire TV Stick vs. the Chromecast.)
Roku is sweetening the pot for both deals by throwing in two free months of the Rdio Unlimited subscription streaming music service — a $20 value — at no extra charge.
