Remastered Raiders of the Lost Ark on the big screen

Sydney’s Popcorn Taxi will be showing the remastered film as the complete Indiana Jones adventures arrive on Blu-ray.

Now in its 13th year, Popcorn Taxi is a regular event that mixes film screenings with in-depth interviews with film-makers and actors. Over the years, guests have included Kevin Smith, Ewan McGregor, Philip Noyce and Jon Ronson, while the screenings have been as diverse as the original Saw, Suburban Mayhem, the first two episodes of Dexter, Hellboy II and more.

On 12 September, Popcorn Taxi will show the remastered version of Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark at Sydney’s Randwick Ritz theatre, with an on-stage Q&A session with actor John Rhys-Davies (Sallah from the films) afterwards.

It’s the same day that marks the release of all four of the Indiana Jones films, remixed and remastered in Blu-ray for a box set (AU$100 from Paramount Home Media).
