Quickflix inks new content deals

Quickflix has announced a host of new content partners, which will provide streaming video for pay-per-view services.

The Walt Disney Company Australia and Warner Bros Entertainment Australia head up a partner list that also includes Umbrella Entertainment, Accent Film, Bounty Films, Gryphon Entertainment, Transmission Films and cult/anime expert Madman Entertainment.

The new content will be available on Quickflix in both Australia and New Zealand from the end of September. Quickflix currently allows for both subscription and pay-per-play services, with a new release costing around AU$5.99 for a 48-hour viewing period.
