Oppo launches new Blu

The BDP-103AU from Oppo will replace the award winning flagship model, the BDP-93.

Similar to the BDP-93, the BDP-103AU will feature both wired and wireless networking capabilities, three USB ports and support for AVCHD, MKV video, high-resolution WAV and FLAC files, plus more.

Other features include 4K up-scaling, 2D-to-3D conversion, 1080p 24Hz output, HDMI 1.4 with Deep Color, Source Direct output and extensive picture control and enhancement options. Additionally, two HDMI outputs are provided, one on the front and one on the back.

The release from Oppo notes that access to online entertainment services will be available, but that these will be dependent on region.

The BDP-103AU will be available in November for AU$699 from selected retailers. We’ll have a review when the product becomes available.
