NPR is ready to make its first official entrance on Roku.

NPR Music is planning to roll out a dedicated Roku channel for its Tiny Desk Concerts series later this month, which features short musical performances from the cubicle of “All Songs Considered” host Bob Boilen. This is NPR’s first dedicated app for the Roku platform; live NPR content can currently be accessed through some third-party channels like TuneIn Radio, but NPR doesn’t have its own app at this time.

While many of the Tiny Desk Concert videos were are already available on Roku through YouTube, the dedicated app offers an even wider selection of content (nearly 300 videos) and some new functionality, including editor’s picks, search, and a separate playlist for new content. Although the Tiny Desk Concerts channel won’t officially launch until later this month, Roku users can download an early version of the app using this link.
