ABC iView, Dailymotion now on Xbox 360

Xbox fans with a penchant for ABC’s TV programs have received an early Christmas present: iView is now available on their console of choice.

The free iView app, available from today, is joined by a Dailymotion app, and both have been customised to work with the Kinect’s voice-command feature. These new catch-up TV and video apps will now share virtual shelf space with a menagerie, including SBS on Demand, which was launched earlier this month, NineMSN, YouTube and Crackle.

Do keep in mind, though, that you will need a current Xbox Live account to access these services, and all video streams will be metered in your broadband plan.

Joining the aforementioned services in early 2012 will be a subscription service for Major League Baseball in the US.
