Expect a lot of appliance and TV announcements from LG this week.

The South Korean electronics maker unveiled a slew of new televisions at last year’s CES, including 12 new ultra-HD screens, and will likely follow suit this year during its press conference at 8 a.m. PT on Monday. It should also show off some of its developments with refrigerators, washing machines and ranges.

We’ll live blog the event, starting about half an hour before its start.

LG, the fifth largest smartphone maker in the world by units shipped, may also unveil a new smartphone. Rumors are percolating that it will come out with a G Flex 2 phone — the heir to the curved-screen G Flex the company launched in 2013.

Still, the presentation will be mired by some controversy. Late last month, South Korean authorities searched the company’s headquarters and a factory amid an investigation. Officials are looking into allegations that LG may have tampered with Samsung washing machines at an electronics store in Berlin during the IFA 2014 trade show. As part of the incident, Samsung earlier this year filed a lawsuit against LG for alleged property damages and defamation.

LG, which has long been overshadowed by its South Korean rival Samsung, has started to gain some traction in the tech world. A big reason for that is its partnership with Google, with the firms teaming up on the Google-powered Nexus smartphones. Despite LG’s recent gains, the company continues to face worries about tough competition and soft growth in the high end of the smartphone market and in TVs.
