Knightmare is back in the dungeon on YouTube today

Enter, stranger! 1980s fantasy favourite Knightmare is back, donning the Helmet of Justice and dispatching stars of Harry Potter and Peep Show to the greenscreen dungeon on YouTube today. Ohhhh, naaaasty…

The 1980s and 90s Children’s ITV show has been revived for YouTube’s Geek Week, with Peep Show‘s Isy Sutie and Harry Potter star Jessie Cave joining original characters Lord Fear, Lissard — and of course, the dungeon master himself, Treguard of Dunshelm.

Epically bearded nightmare-haunter Treguard is once again played by Hugo Myatt, while original producer Tim Child is behind the new episode.

New dungeoneers pitting their Life Force against the perils of Knightmare Castle include YouTubers Danisnotonfire, AmazingPhil, Emma Blackery and Ashens, who between them have a whopping 3.8 million subscribers to their YouTube channels.

Also included in YouTube’s Geek Week line-up is everyone’s favourite novelty condom-headed mech Kryten from Red Dwarf, erstwhile Ewok Warwick Davies, and a whole channel dedicated to Doctor Who. Tomorrow, Brainiac returns, with days dedicated to gaming, superheroes and fans to follow.
