Jay Z’s streaming music service Tidal has failed to gain much traction since its launch in 2014, despite having the support of some of the biggest names in the music industry.
Nonetheless, in a move that’s sure to at least boost traffic to Tidal’s website (and potentially boost subscribers), Rihanna is giving away her new album in exchange for your email address.
It’s important to note, the album appears to only be available in entirety from Tidal at the moment. And once the download codes are used up, you’ll have to purchase the album.
- To download “Anti,” visit this web page.
- After loading, the voucher field should show “ANTI” preloaded in it. If not, type it in.
- Enter the rest of your information, including email address and name. Finally, click on the box to prove you’re not a robot.
- A few seconds later, you’ll be taken to a webpage where you can download the album.
As you can see in my screenshot above, Safari users will have a download emailed to them. I was able to download the MP3 version of the album without issue, but the lossless FLAC version proved problematic when using Safari.
Your results may vary.
As an added bonus to the free album, Tidal is giving new customers a free 60-day trial of the streaming music service. Details and instructions on how to start your free trial are included in the email.
