Foxtel Go lands on select Samsung devices

The Foxtel Go app is no longer exclusive to the iPhone and iPad, moving across to select Samsung Android devices, as well as PC and Mac.

As of today, the Samsung Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note II and Galaxy Note 10.1 will all have access to the app, either via the Samsung app store or Google Play. The devices must be running Android 4.1 or higher.

Access is also available for PC and Mac users via a small download. Users can link three devices to their Foxtel subscription and run Go on two devices at once.

Foxtel Go now offers 59 live channels and 50 catch-up channels for subscribers. The Footy Play channel is not available on PC or Mac due to Foxtel’s AFL broadcast rights.

Foxtel Go is still not available for customers using Optus TV featuring Foxtel, Foxtel via the Telstra T-Box, Foxtel on internet TV or Foxtel on Xbox.
