Dear Microsoft, where’s my sack of cash?

I’m told I’m famous. “At last,” I cried, when Rory informed me last week I was an international superstar. “The day I’ve been waiting for,” I bellowed across the office. Luckily, I stopped before telling everyone I was finally getting out of my day-to-day existence and suggesting they should stick their collective heads up a collection of pigs.

It turns out I’m not that famous at all. I’ve just been used in a Microsoft Surface demo to show how it’s possible to use the product in retail locations to give people access to video reviews. They just happened to use a CNET UK video to demonstrate this, and it just happens to be one of yours truly.

Apparently the video is on all of the demo Surfaces, so if you ever get a chance to fiddle with one, look me up! You can also see the demo on the Microsoft Web site — but blink and you’ll miss me.

Notoriety and almost certain fortune are mine!

The question I have though is, where’s my sack of money? Surely with such international fame and almost certain daily recognition that will come from this, I’m going to be remunerated?

So Microsoft, where are my riches? Come on — dig deep. You can afford it.
