ZTE’s Spro 2 (pronounced “ess-pro”), a video and image projector that doubles as a Wi-Fi hotspot, will be available on AT&T starting Friday, April 24, the company has announced. The device will cost $400 with a two-year carrier agreement or $500 without.

The Spro 2 debuted earlier this year at CES 2015 . As a projector, it can display 120-inch HD images and videos at 200 lumens. You can hook up the device to your phone, tablet, or laptop through a Wi-Fi connection. To store content, it has 16GB of internal space and a microSD card slot for up to 64GB of expandable memory. It can also access media through its USB and HDMI ports.

The Spro 2 is equipped with a 5-inch 720p touchscreen display and runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat with a customized user interface layered on top. You can then directly download Google apps from the Play Store and stream content on services like Hulu+, YouTube, Netflix and ESPN.

As a Wi-Fi hotspot, you can connect up to 10 devices on AT&T’s 4G LTE network. The dual-band (2.4 and 5GHz) device is powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core processor and a 6,300mAh battery. According to ZTE, that will provide enough juice for either 2.5 hours of streaming, or 10 hours of Wi-Fi connection. You can also use the Spro 2 as a powerbank to charge other devices.

In addition, ZTE will announce a second major US carrier partnership for the Spro 2 in June, so non-AT&T customers may have a chance to purchase the device as well. An unlocked version directly sold by ZTE (along with other e-commerce sites) is also in the works for the end of this year.
