Samsung’s first phone to run its new Bada operating system, the Samsung Wave, is only just out, but sequels are already in the air. The Samsung Wave 2 and Samsung Wave 2 Pro, the second and third phones to rock the new OS, were shown off in Singapore today.
Both the Waves have 81mm (3.2-inch) touchscreens, while the Wave 2 (pictured) adds a slide-out Qwerty keyboard. Both phones offer the latest 802.11n standard Wi-Fi, GPS and access to a humble collection of apps and widgets available for the Bada platform.
Sadly, neither phone has 3G support, so you may find Web surfing is a little slow when you’re not on Wi-Fi.
The Wave 2 and Wave 2 Pro will wash up on the far-off shores of Russia and Asia this summer, but Samsung wouldn’t comment on when we’ll see them arrive in the UK.
