Everyone wants to take advantage of the great Black Friday tech deals, but sometimes the thought of fighting the crowds is enough to make one stay home instead. Fortunately, for U.S. Cellular customers, the carrier is starting its holiday promotion early so you can beat the rush.
Starting today, U.S. Cellular dropped the prices on its entire Android lineup. From now through November 29, you can get the LG Apex and Samsung Acclaim for free after a $80 mail-in rebate. The Samsung Mesmerize is $100 less at $99 and the HTC Desire is $150 less at just $49; both are after $80 mail-in rebates.
In addition to the discount on devices, the carrier announced that anyone who adds a smartphone line this week will receive a $150 credit off future bills.
Earlier this month, U.S. Cellular announced a new data plan for smartphone users called Primary Plus that runs $69.99 per month and includes 5GB of data with unlimited text messaging and GPS navigation and 450 voice minutes (with free incoming calls, free nights and weekends, and free mobile-to-mobile calls). Meanwhile, families can opt for the Essential Plus Family Plan, which includes two lines, 1,500 shared minutes, unlimited message, and 5GB data for $139.99 per month, or the Premium Plus Family Plan for $179.99 per month, which adds unlimited minutes and messaging, GPS Navigation, and phone replacement.
