Sprint’s simple Samsung M360

Sprint took a break from a string of Android announcements today by unveiling its new Samsung M360. The midrange flip phone is available today for free with a two-year service contract and a $50 mail-in rebate.

Like last year’s Samsung M330, the M630 doesn’t go out of its way to impress. On the outside it has a simple flip phone design in royal blue. The external display supports 65,000 colors and the internal display has 260,000 colors. We approve of the standard 3.5mm headset jack.

It features messaging, a personal organizer, a speakerphone, speaker-independent voice dialing, Bluetooth, a 1.3-megapixel camera, and a wireless Web browser. The M360 offers parental controls and is compatible with Sprint’s family Locator feature.
