Upgrade your Vodafone BlackBerry to OS 6

Do you have a Vodafone BlackBerry Bold 9700 or a Curve 3G? It’s time to upgrade to BlackBerry OS 6.

These two handsets running on Vodafone’s network are eligible for an upgrade from version 5 of the BlackBerry OS to the snazzy looking OS 6. The new operating system brings a bunch of enhancements, including a new, faster web browser and a more convenient homescreen layout.

To update your BlackBerry, you must first download and install the BlackBerry Device Updater here. Then just connect your phone after the update tool launches and follow the prompts. It warns that the update can take an hour to complete, but we found it updated our Bold 9700 in about 15 minutes.
