You don’t have to be rich to get one up on your friends — the HTC One V, that is, which is now up for grabs and very tastily priced too.
It’s available for pre-order, which is a horrible word, but what can you do? After you order the phone, it’ll be sent to you some time in April — the exact date is yet to be confirmed.
Comparison site Omio shows BuyMobilePhones is offering the One V now, complete with low, low prices. You get the phone for free across a range of deals from the networks, starting at a mere £13.50 each month. This nets you 50 minutes, 250 texts and 100MB of data. You are tied to O2 for two whole years though.
The phone will set you back £230 without a contract, allowing you to choose a low-cost deal — but at these prices, you might struggle to find something cheaper.
The design brings back the little chin previously seen on the HTC Hero and HTC Legend. It’s either cute or weird, depending on your feelings about chins.
Underneath the 3.7-inch touchscreen is a 5-megapixel camera, Beats Audio technology and Ice Cream Sandwich.
The One V completes the troika of One smart phones, alongside the One X and One S, which are both on sale now. The One X is the quad-core daddy of the three, but we prefer the slightly more handily sized One S.
