Aussie electronics retailer Kogan is hoping to share some of Apple’s limelight today, announcing that it will sell all three iPhone 5 SKUs at AU$100 cheaper than Apple’s RRP.
Interested parties can pre-order the new smartphone from today, with the 16GB version priced at AU$699, the 32GB model at AU$799 and the 64GB handset at AU$899.
Apple announced the iPhone 5 this morning in a widely publicised keynote press event in San Francisco. The new phone retains many of the features of previous versions, but now has a larger screen and 4G network capabilities. Apple will begin taking pre-orders for its latest handset on Friday. All three of the major Aussie telcos have committed to selling the iPhone when it is released on 21 September.
