We had a chance to reviewthe device recently, and we have to admit, this device is fast. Its zippy quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU make it a snap to handle, and its 4.7-inch screen is gorgeous. Pictures and videos appeared crisp and bright, and gameplay was vivid and speedy.
The phone did have a few missteps, however. AT&T’s Optimus G hosts an 8-megapixel camera (the Sprint version, on the other hand, has a 13-megapixel camera), and some of its photos fell flat. And as we anticipated, powering those quad cores did a number on draining the battery reserves.
But, along with the Sprint version, the LG Optimus G is the best phone LG has yet to offer — and it’s good to see it’ll be available at a reasonable price. So now that the price is out, will you guys be getting the Optimus G?
