Waiting for a native Instagram app for your Windows Phone device? You’re not alone — Nokia is taking the cause to the streets of Twitter.
Over at its Conversations blog, Nokia has begun a campaign to bring Instagram to Windows Phone handsets. Users can download a dedicated app that has a quick rundown of why Nokia wants a native version of Instagram. The #2InstaWithLove app is also a camera app that lets you snap photos and apply a Polaroid filter and frame to them.
The hashtag is picking up some pace on Twitter, though not that many on Instagram itself just yet — not surprising since users would have to also own an Android or iOS device to upload photos.
It seems that it’s not only Nokia handset owners who are upset about the lack of a native Instagram app. Recently, the Facebook-owned photo sharing service revealed that it wasn’t interested in developing a native app for the new BlackBerry 10 OS.
