The midlevel 3G device will also be available on Boost Mobile for the prepaid price of $149.99 starting July 23.
Aside from being able to survive in a meter of water for 30 minutes, the smartphone has a 4-inch display, with a 800×480-pixel resolution.
It ships with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, a 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, and a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera.
In addition, similar to the Kyocera Torque, it has Smart Sonic Receiver technology. This means that in lieu of an in-ear speaker, audio instead travels directly through the cartilage in your ear via a ceramic transducer inside the handset.
Other features include a 1,600mAh battery, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of ROM, and expandable storage up to 32GB.
