Sony’s Xperia M has landed on the shores of the US where it’s available through several different retailers.
The phone is selling through Sony and Newegg for $249.99. But buyers can save a few bucks through Rakuten, which is serving it up for $227.99.
The unlocked phone is normally available in black, white, yellow, and purple. But not all color models are in stock depending on the retailer.
Recently debuting across Europe and Asia, the Xperia M is considered a midrange phone. It offers a 1GHz dual-core processor, a 4-inch screen with a resolution of just 854×480 pixels, and a 5-megapixel camera in the rear. Internal storage is only 4GB, but users can bump up the total to 32GB with a microSD card. The phone comes installed with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
The overall specs may not sound earthshaking, but the Xperia M does offer one notable feature, namely NFC (near-field communications).
