The new Galaxy Mega smartphone will soon make its debut in Samsung’s home base of South Korea.
Offering a 6.3-inch display, the new Mega will roll out this week, according to The Wall Street Journal. The phone is expected to cost almost 1,000,000 won ($895) without a contract and will be available across three Korean carriers — SK Telecom, KT, and LG Uplus.
The 6.3-inch screen offers a resolution of 1,280×720. The phone itself is powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core processor and comes with 16GB of internal storage and 1.5GB of RAM. Equipped with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, the Mega also supports 4G LTE. An 8-megapixel camera graces the back, while a 1.9-megapixel camera faces front.
The Mega is already being sold across Europe and Russia, the Journal noted.
