Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 only comes in white on these shores. But a blue version is on the horizon, if this leaked pic is to be trusted.
It comes from renowned tipster @evleaks, and shows the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 standing there clad in blue like it’s no big deal.
It’s still up in the air as to whether us Brits will see the new hue, however. The device comes in brown as well as white in the US. Its predecessor, the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, came in black or white in the UK, so it’s a bit of a mystery why Samsung has reduced the choice of colours. Maybe it doesn’t trust us to make the decision.
The Galaxy Tab 3 comes in 8-inch and 10.1-inch models too. Though it’s anyone’s guess if these sizes will see the new colour as well.
Samsung is said to have a host of goodies up its sleeve for tech show IFA next week, including a Galaxy Gear smart watch, and the Galaxy Note 3. This latter device will reportedly come in pink, too. So maybe Samsung will dazzle us with all the colours of the rainbow.
The 7-inch Galaxy Tab 3 is aimed at unseating the Nexus 7 as the king of Android tablets. But it’s got a job on its hands. The new Nexus 7 — which comes to the UK on 28 August, that’s this Wednesday — has a Full HD 1080p screen, and snazzy 5-megapixel camera. Those are both better than the Tab 3’s 1,024×600-pixel display and 1.3-megapixel snapper.
