A purported repair service manual for the Nexus 5 has leaked online, revealing a number of key specs for the LG-made device.

The manual, which was posted on Scribd, has been written as a support document for service technicians, but also reveals quite of a few details about the phone’s hardware configuration.
Apparently, the Nexus 5 will feature a 4.95-inch 1920×1080 in-plane switching (IPS) screen, a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB of RAM. Internal storage will be available in both 16GB and 32GB versions.
A rear 8-megapixel camera will have optical image stabilisation, while the front camera is 1.3 megapixels. The Nexus 5 also has support for long-term evolution (LTE) and near-field communication (NFC).
Finally, the battery is 2300mAh, a bump up from the Nexus 4, and it will have wireless charging capabilities.
While some of these specs have appeared in rumours before, if the manual turns out to be legitimate, then this is the first time we’ve had them confirmed from LG source material.
No date has been given for the Nexus 5, but it’s possible we will see the phone launched before the end of October as part of the introduction of Android 4.4, also known as KitKat.
