More details about the HTC One Max have emerged.

Nowhereelse.fr editor Steve Hemmerstoffer tweeted an image on Wednesday allegedly containing the specifications of HTC’s highly anticipated phablet. The details that fall in line with previous reports. HTC is expected to unveil the device Tuesday at an event in Asia.

The One Max apparently will have a 5.9-inch display with 1,920×1,080 resolution, a 1.7GHz Qualcomm processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB to 64GB of storage with a slot for another 32GB microSD card. It will run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and HTC Sense 5.5.

One reader noted that the 70.5 mm width listed for the phone may be too narrow for a 5.9-inch screen. The listed weight of 130 grams is less than the smaller HTC One, although there is a “TBD” listed alongside the stat.

A filing with China’s equivalent of the Federal Communications Commission, meanwhile, has the One Max pegged at 6.4 inches long, 3.2 inches wide, and 0.4 inches thick, according to the Laptop blog. The phone is supposed to weigh 7.6 ounces, significantly heavier than the 5-ounce One.

HTC is the latest company to jump into the phablet category of jumbo phones. The One Max is essentially a super-sized version of its critically acclaimed aluminum-clad HTC One, although sales of the latter have lagged larger hits like the Apple iPhone 5 or Samsung Galaxy S4.

The other rumored feature of the HTC One Max is the fingerprint sensor on the back of the device. Supposed icons for the touch-screen feature have popped up on PhoneArena.

Phablets, meanwhile, haven’t done particularly well, with the only legitimate success being the Galaxy Note franchise from Samsung.

An HTC representative declined to comment on the rumors.

Updated at 5:33 a.m. and 7:12 a.m. PT: to include company response and a note on the potential weight and width of the product, along with additional specs from a filing with a Chinese regulatory agency.
