Now hear this: the Sky Now TV Box is in shops now, bringing with it Sky Sports and Sky Movies at a knock-down price.
The Now TV box is on shelves at Argos, Currys and PC World from today, and in John Lewis in coming weeks. The Now TV box now comes with a choice of Sky Sports or Sky Movies subscriptions too.
You can sign up to 24 hours of sporting action with a Sky Sports Day Pass or a whole three months of the latest Hollywood hits with a Sky Movies Pass.
The Now TV box with 24-hours of sport costs £14.99. The box plus three months of movies costs just £24.99, a pretty solid deal when you consider that Sky has a lock on the latest blockbusters, making Now TV the only place to watch them without forking out for a DVD, often leaving Netflix and Lovefilm subscribers with a long wait.
The Now TV box is a dinky little set-top box that lets you play Sky Sports, movies and news channels, as well as BBC iPlayer, Demand 5, and Spotify, Facebook and Flickr, and all without requiring a dish. Channel 4’s 4OD catch-up service and more Sky channels are coming too before the end of the year. For so much in such a bargain-tastic package we awarded the Now TV box a coveted CNET Editors’ Choice Award.
What do you think of the Now TV Box? Is Sky the best telly money can buy, or do you prefer BT, Virgin Media, Freeview or YouView? Tell me your thoughts in the comments or on our Facebook page.
