Looking for an early Christmas treat, phone fan? The expansively-screened Nokia Lumia 1520 hits shops on 6 December.
The 6-inch Windows Phone will be available from O2, Vodafone, Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4u. It’s free on a contract costing £38 per month with Vodafone, which comes with unlimited calls and texts and 2GB of 3G data.
For super-fast browsing and streaming, the 1520 is a 4G blower, with contracts starting from an eye-watering £48 per month after a £90 up-front cost.
The 1520 was announced alongside another 6-inch phablet, the Lumia 1320, and Nokia’s first tablet, the Lumia 2520. Neither has a release date yet.
The 1520’s hefty 6-inch screen boasts 1,920×1,080 pixel Full HD detail. Inside is a muscular quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB of RAM, running Windows 8.1 software.
