Xbox One Stereo Headset coming in March

Got something to say to your fellow gamers? You can whisper sweet nothings in the ears of button-bashing buddies anywhere in the world with the Microsoft Xbox One Stereo Headset, coming next month.

The headset includes over-the-ear speakers and a unidirectional microphone to capture your sage observations and pithy asides during gameplay, dispensing your wise and insightful utterances to fellow gamers to enhance everybody’s enjoyment of the onscreen action.

The headset offers to massage your lugholes with a 20Hz-20kHz audio spectrum, from the low-frequency rumble of alien tanks exploding to the high-frequency tinkle of coins collected.

The Xbox One Stereo Headset is on sale worldwide in early March for £60.

It also comes with a detachable Stereo Headset Adapter that lets you balance the game and chat audio levels to tune out distractions, control the master volume, and mute the mic when telling your mum what you want for tea — all without taking your hands off the controller.

Microsoft will also sell the Adapter on its own for £20, so you can plug it into your own well-worn gaming cans or your current Xbox 360 gaming headset and control audio levels without forking out for the headphones.
