Rumours have been flying about Nokia working on an Android smartphone and now images have leaked, supposedly showing the phone in action.
The leaks came from a Twitter account named @seamissu and were directed at well known smartphone insider, @evleaks. The photos apparently originated on Chinese social networking site Weibo. The potential Android phone is reportedly codenamed Normandy, something likely to delight Mass Effect fans.
The image shows the phone to have a back button, rather than a Windows icon, as well as the Nokia logo. Another image from @picturepan2 shows the same phone with app icons in the screen.

Nokia had been rumoured to be working on an Android phone before the Microsoft acquisition — the question now is whether Nokia would continue to release a smartphone on the platform, or if this is just an old prototype destined to never see the light of day.
