Sony has announced a range of new devices at Mobile World Congress. Chief among them is the Xperia Z2, which is the follow-up to the flagship Xperia Z1. And now we know which UK networks it’ll be available on.
Vodafone, EE, Three, and O2 have all confirmed they’ll stock the Xperia Z2. That’s all of the major networks, so it’ll be available across the board.
The Xperia Z2 — not to be confused with the Xperia Z2 Tablet, which Sony also announced — has the same aluminium-edged design as its predecessor, with the same glass front and back that won us over. The camera is the same 20.7 megapixels, and the screen is Full HD. Also just like the Z1, it’s waterproof too.
There are some tweaks to set it apart from the Z1 though. The screen is slightly larger, at 5.2 inches. It runs Android KitKat, records video in 4K, and it has a slightly faster chip, clocked at 2.3GHz.
So when can us eager Brits get our hands on it? It’ll be up for pre-order at the end of March, and will go on sale in April. O2 will have an exclusive purple version too, it said in a tweet.

Sony also announced another couple of waterproof devices at Mobile World Congress. The Xperia M2 is a more wallet-friendly Android blower, while the Xperia T2 Tablet is a 10.1-inch slate that’s fit for bath time.
