Nokia Lumia 1320 release date is 24 February, free on contract

The Nokia Lumia 1320 lands on 24 February, and you can get it for free for as little as £21 per month.

Revealing the release date for the Windows Phone 6-incher, Nokia bandies around words like “affordable” and “competitive”, and retailers are offering it gratis on a range of contracts. 

The 1320 is Nokia’s newest phablet, a 4G phone with an oversized 6-inch, 720p screen. It’ll be available from EE, Virgin Mobile and Carphone Warehouse, which will give you the phone for nowt on contracts starting at £21.

Under the screen is a 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor with 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of storage. On the back is a 5-megapixel camera and on the front a low-resolution camera for video chat.

The 1320 joins the similarly-sized Lumia 1520 on shop shelves. Unveiled alongside the Lumia 2520, the Finnish company’s first tablet, the 1520 is on sale now and boasts a Full HD screen, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB of RAM — hit play on our video to find out more.
