Oppo announced its entry into the wearable fitness market with the new O-Band. The wristband serves as a pedometer and can monitor your sleep patterns. It also works as an alarm clock since you’ll be wearing it at night when you sleep.

Like the O-Click dongle that came with the Oppo N1, the O-Band serves as a phone locator, and doubles up as a remote shutter for your smartphone.

Unfortunately, the O-Band is currently limited to China as the company is using 360.cn for the fitness tracking data, though Oppo says the company is looking for worldwide partners.

It will launch in China for 900 Chinese Yuan ($145), but there’s no confirmed date of when it will be available.
