Nokia is rolling out its bright style to three new Lumia handsets, including the brand’s first ever Lumia dual-SIM model.

Alongside a raft of announcements to come out of Microsoft’s Build conference overnight, including the launch of a new Windows Phone 8.1 operating system with a dedicated voice assistant Cortana, Nokia announced a suite of new handsets to utilise the updated Windows OS.
The range includes the brand’s first dual-SIM Lumia, the Nokia Lumia 630, a mid-range and “affordable” Lumia 635 and the brand’s flagship Lumia 930.
Maintaining the look and feel of the existing Lumia range, including the pop-colour covers and the tile-based interface, the range is headed up by the Lumia 930. The device boasts “the ultimate video and imaging experience”, thanks to a 20-megapixel PureView camera with ZEISS optics. It also features a 5-inch screen, 2.2GHz Snapdragon quad-core processor and a metal and polycarbonate shell which will be available in orange, green, black and white.
While there’s no word yet on local pricing or availability (a spokesperson for Nokia Australia said this would be known “closer to local launch”), Nokia’s US office announced the Lumia 930 is “expected to roll out globally in June starting with Europe, Asia, Middle East and India” and will be available for US$599.
In the “affordable” price bracket, the Lumia 635 and 630 have a number of common features such as a 5-megapixel camera, 4.5-inch screen, 1.2GHz Snapdragon quad-core processor and changeable coloured ‘shells’ in a number of shades including green, orange and yellow.
Once again, there are no details on local availability for these models, but the 635 “is expected to be broadly available, including in the US starting in this summer,” according to Nokia, for US$189.
The Lumia 630 will be available in both single-SIM and dual-SIM variants, both targeted “growth markets” such as China and India, and will be sold for US$159 and US$169 respectively.
