If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, then T-Mobile should feel fawned over by Sprint’s latest move.

The nation’s third-largest carrier announced a new, limited-time promotion on Friday, designed to attract customers from other providers.
Called the Framily Switching Bonus, it’s a combination of device trade-in credits and early termination fee credits. Starting April 4 and running through May 8, customers who dump their contracts for Sprint can earn up to $650 for jumping ship.
Consumers who trade in their old device will receive up to $300 when signing on to a Framily Plan. Those who submit a final bill from another wireless carrier are eligible to receive a Visa prepaid card worth up to $350. The extra money can be used to pay off early termination fees or an equipment installment balance. And, yes, that’s for each new line of service. Sounds familiar, no?
For what it’s worth, existing Sprint subscribers can also get in on the action. As they see it, adding a co-worker or friend to a Framily Plan is the same as a spouse or child.
To take advantage of the Framily Switching Bonus, simply visit a Sprint store or shop online at Sprint.com before May 8.
