Samsung may try to push the display envelope with a tablet sporting a 13.3-inch screen.

Citing information from an “inside contact” involved with Samsung’s Kids Mode, GSMArena said Monday that the device would be one of three new upcoming tablets from the Korean company. Codenamed “Warhol” and tagged with a T911/T910 model number, the 13.3-incher would likely adopt an LCD screen rather than an AMOLED display and offer a resolution of 2,560×1,600 pixels.

The T in the model number means the tablet would be part of Samsung’s Tab offerings and most likely be at the top of the lineup. Samsung currently maxes out at 12.2-inch screens with its Galaxy TabPro and Galaxy Note Pro tablets.

The other two tablets reportedly in the works include an 8.4-inch model named 701/T700 or “Klimt” and a 10.5-inch device called T801/T800 or “Chagall.” The two smaller ones would be built with AMOLED displays but also use a 2,560×1,600 resolution, according to the source. Benchmarking specs at AnTuTu on these two units also revealed a fingerprint reader among other specs, according to GSMArena.
