If the World Cup has you hankering after a kickabout in the park with jumpers for goalposts, but your trainers are too embarrassing to be seen in, you can get a free pair of personalised Adidas kicks with the flagship HTC One M8 or the HTC One Mini 2 from Phones 4U.
From today, when you buy either phone, you can select a pair of Adidas trainers worth up to £110, for free. The options include the Adidas Mi Duramo 6 (pictured above), the Mi Element Voyager or the Mi F10 FG shoes. Once you’ve picked your kicks, you can customise them to your own design, selecting the colour of each part of the shoe from sole to laces.

Phones 4u is one of the biggest high street mobile phone retailers, along with Carphone Warehouse. There are over 600 stores throughout the UK, while Carphone Warehouse, which this month announced plans to merge with Currys and PC World, has more than 1,700 branches throughout Europe.
The One M8 is HTC’s latest Android flagship smartphone, boasting an excellent 5-inch display and a clever depth-sensing camera in a sleek metal casing. It’s wallet-friendly spin-off the One Mini 2 is a 4.5-inch Android phone with an even better camera than the M8.
You can match your new trainers to your new HTC phone’s brushed metal look. The whole Adidas range of Mi shoes can be customised with different colours, and you can even print your Instagram snaps on the shoes. The range also includes bags, jackets and other items that can be customised to your colour specifications.
The free trainers are available with the One M8 and One Mini 2 throughout the rest of June and July up to the 31 July.
