Leaked image shows LG WebOS TV

Is the cat out of the bag? A leaked photo has showed off what could be LG’s WebOS TV.

The leak came from Twitter account @evleaks and simply linked to a photo of the purported TV. You may recall that LG bought WebOS and all the associated source code from HP back in 2013, specifically for use in its range of smart TVs.

Just last month, LG revealed its plans surrounding the first WebOS smart TV, and that it would show off the model at CES 2014. The TV will boast a 2.2GHz dual-core processor and 1.5GB of RAM, according to an LG researcher.

From the photo above, it appears that the TV will have a multitasking menu based around the Cards system that HP used on its smartphones. Alongside apps including Facebook and Twitter, there are links to LG’s SmartShare service. If the leaked image is to be believed, this may very well be the same TV that makes its debut next week at CES 2014 in Las Vegas.
