What’s happening with video on demand in Australia?

It’s been a big couple of weeks for video on demand in Australia.

Foxtel has launched Presto, a new movie VOD service, and we’ve seen the first run of reputable rumours that not only is Google’s Chromecast coming locally, but that the company is working with local devs to ensure that Australian on demand services will be ready to roll.

And, of course, once again Netflix didn’t launch locally.

(Also, just a short time after we recorded this, Foxtel announced that it was adding more shows to its Complete Seasons list. So just pretend we mentioned this in the video.)

So lets take a bit of a look at the state of the local on demand video services.
